Mrs. Linda Mlsna

Mrs. Linda Mlsna grew up on the north side of Chicago. She is a product of Catholic education having attended St. Henry Grade School and St. Scholastica High School. Linda graduated from Mundelein College (now part of Loyola University). After marrying Matt, they moved to the Rockford area where they raised two children who are now adults.

When her children were older, Linda returned to college at N.I.U. to earn her Master of Science in Education (Early Childhood). She has almost 30 years of teaching experience mostly at the Preschool and Kindergarten levels. The past 21 years were spent at the Cathedral of St. Peter School until the Preschool Program there closed. She is very excited about joining St. James' family.

Linda is happiest when spending time with her family. She also enjoys walking, biking, reading, and crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Mlsna has always been drawn to younger students because the changes she sees in children of this age from the beginning of the school year to the end are amazing! Her first goal each year is that the children are happy and eager to attend school, which hopefully continues on in each child's school career.
